This post was half started for 238 weeks although we never had the chance to finish it. Today, finally and thanks to our Facebook friends who have given us a cable, we are going to leave you a lady restaurant guide where to eat in Barcelona (good and cheap)!

While it is true that Barcelona is not the cheapest city in the world, there are many places to eat well and not be sableed. In this post we will suggest bars, restaurants and places to eat for about € 10 (or less!)

Do you think it is impossible? Then take a look and change your mind (see also all the comments that people have kindly left with their proposals, and if you have any, share it!).

Do not miss the best to see and do in Barcelona

If you want to eat luxury in a very cool downtown location and at a very good price (€ 11.45 for the first, second, dessert, drink and bread) go to the Dolça Herminia: it is incredible the quality-price of this restaurant! Rober went a lot when we lived in Barcelona since he worked there next door and he loved it. They prepare typical dishes of Catalan cuisine and other more "modernillos". Keep in mind that the menu of the day is only for lunch (for dinner they have a menu and it is more expensive, obviously).

I discovered this site thanks to my friend Marilisa, we went here for a brunch and she freaked us out. At noon they have a menu for € 11 that includes any dish of the menu, drink, dessert and coffee ... a chollazo! We ordered the eggs Benedict and they were in vice. Desserts are homemade and very rich.

The truth is that we do not know if we like this site or not. Well yes we like it. Although if you come here with HUNGER then, it will not be SUPER cheap because the portions are small. Of course, the quality is excellent and if you want to try Asian food in tapas, it is the perfect place. Our favorites are: Thai fish fritters (€ 4.50), dumplings (€ 3-5), yaki tori (€ 3.5), pork ribs (€ 2.75). It is located in the Borne neighborhood, one of the most beautiful in the entire city 🙂

You know that we are dumplingomanos and since we found this 100% Chinese corner in Barcelona every week we went for our ration of dumplings (guo tie): 12 units for € 3.5 yuppi! Great homemade noodle soup with minced meat (€ 4 approx) and chicken dishes (€ 5). With two dishes to share between two you eat perfectly as the portions are generous. The site is not one of those that have charm, but the food deserves.

I discovered this restaurant on Instagram and it was love at first sight. The food they prepare is healthy, vegetarian and very, very rich. There is a daily menu for 10.95 which includes starter, main, water, bread and coffee. The menu changes every week and you can see it on their Instagram profile.

Update 2019: it has closed 🙁 but apparently in the same direction they opened a restaurant of similar concept, so we still have to try it.

It is a lovely restaurant, both for the kitchen and for the atmosphere. When we lived in Barcelona we often went for the strawberry mojito (€ 4) and the tasting dish for 2 that costs about € 9.55 or € 4.5 per head and carries wonton, rolls, nems and pork pump is delicious). But if you want to eat from the menu, there are quite a few options ... we recommend the pho bo soup (€ 8.5).

They also have interesting menu of the day (only at noon), which includes starter, main, drink, dessert or coffee (€ 10.60).

This Mexican is to climb on the bar with a lemon in his mouth and salt in his hand and shout "W Mexico Cabrones!" You are right. We love him madly. It is the same management as the Bun Bo so here you can also find the good and cheap mojitos (€ 4). But the best is the food: nachos with guacamole (€ 7), ceviche (€ 6.90), order of 4 tacos (€ 8.90) and my favorite ... the 3 roast quesadillas (€ 7.95). I want to cry when I think of that place: what a good time (literally hehe) we spent there!

Like the Bun Bo, it has a daily menu with starter, main, drink, dessert or coffee (€ 10.9).

If you fancy an informal evening and zamparte a hot dog, El Pibe is perhaps the best option in Barcelona. They have been open since 1976 and for something it will be 😉 the prices are super competitive and the dogs are very rich (sauces included), come on ... they are synonymous with Frankfurt in Barcelona! They also have sandwiches, hamburgers and tapas (in potatoes, mozzarella sticks, camembert sandwiches) ... and craft beer!

With the large number of Italians living in Barcelona, there is no lack of pasta and pizza restaurants ... but what about piadinas? Neither! This tiny, simple and full-bodied place prepares what are probably the best pcninas in Bcn. If you do not know what a piadina is, you have wasted a lot of happiness ... the good news is that when you start trying them you will never leave it: they are very good!

In Santa Piadina you can choose the piadina dough (I like the classic one!) And the ingredients (if you have not already done so, try the speck, a delicious Italian smoked ham, with fontina cheese. I die!). Prices vary according to the ingredients but calculates about € 5-7. And there is also sweet piadina: the nutella is a classic that never dies (€ 3).

An Argentine restaurant in the Gothic quarter where you can drive your teeth to typical dishes of Argentina. Don't be boludo and try it, che! The queens are without a doubt them: the empanadas in the purest Argentine style, very good (from € 1.80). You can also try choripan (€ 4.5), vacuum sandwich (€ 6) and more delicious stuff. And if you can spend a little more (€ 10-13) try the milanesas that are incredible!

A pizza always feels like it, right? It may not be the best in Barcelona but if you fancy a cheap snack and good to point this name: Pizza del Born. They also sell pies and homemade desserts.

Ok, it is not the most central or beautiful place in the city, but its white potatoes (€ 2.6) are a legend in Barcelona. And they are rich: it is worth coming here to try them, and if with a few little canes much better. Now ... do not expect a chic bar or an extensive menu: it is a neighborhood bar, one of the lifelong ones and the great reason to come is them, the potatoes. Point.

Do you want a hamburger? We do not judge you: from time to time you have to treat yourself! At Pim Pam Burger they prepare some of the best burgers in Barcelona so don't hesitate to go: the quality of the meat and potatoes here is excellent. There are burgers veneers but the simple one costs € 4.5.

I think we should have a commission for this ... we don't know how many times we have recommended this site! Person who asks us "where to eat cheap in Barcelona?" person who sent to Tasca to eat the mythical sausage with aioli. And it is death. And cheap: the plate with the GIANT sausage with white beans or chips costs about € 6.

The menu of the day, 100% homemade is also cheap (about € 8) and toasts (or torradas) are another essential dish (from € 6). Also the pints of beers are cheap (about € 3.50) and rich rich. Come on: a success. We love Tasca and Vins!

Update: we have received several comments saying that, apparently, lately Tasca is no longer a recommended option (especially when it comes to catching tapas and portions). If you go, opt for the sausage dish or the menu of the day. What a shame 🙁
