Put an end of summer night, put a charming Andalusian village and to finish off also put the light of 25,000 candles: welcome to the Guaro blackberry festival!

If you are lucky enough to visit it during this party, upon arrival you will be welcomed by narrow streets lit by the moonlight and the jingle of candles. You can listen to concerts and Sephardic and Andalusian music, run into women who dance belly dance to the rhythm of the drums, workshops for children and not so children and storytellers who will transport you at a distant time until the smell of Andalusian tapas will remind you that you are still in the province of Malaga and not lost by some souk of Morocco!

I was lucky enough to enjoy it with my friends Isa, Adela and Eva a couple of years ago: we had a great time!

Although as you know, what happens in Guaro stays in Guaro, so I will not tell you that we have asked for a jug of beer and they brought us a 500-liter barrel, nor that Eva began to walk like a humpback through the streets of the town , or that I ended up looking for dragons under the bed ... ups!

This is definitely one of those parties you will always remember, so don't miss it!
