This trip to Turin will take us one of those cities we were looking forward to meet for a long time. Often forgotten by cities as important and tourist as Rome, Florence or Venice, Turin is one of those cities that surprise, and much, against more you know and delve into them. Although it sure goes a long way, we will do this trip to Turin in 3 days, which we believe is a more than fair time for a first contact with this city.

One of the most impressive things in Turin is the location of the city, surrounded by alpine peaks, which give a very special air to this city of great attraction through which great characters have passed and that little by little has become a small mountain village to be one of the most recognized cities for its relationship with cinema, cars and Egyptian art.

With a beautiful historic center, which expands through the city from Plaza Castello, there are many attractions that we cannot miss, especially if it is our first visit to the city. Places like the Basilica of Superga, the Cathedral, the Consolata or the Crocetta are essential visits in the city next to the Holy Shroud, if it coincides with the time of visit, which is located in the Cathedral.
Not forgetting of course the famous Collegio dei Nobili which is the headquarters of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, a collection only surpassed by the one we can find in Cairo, in addition to the Automobile and Film Museum, three of the Turin museums that we should not miss.

With a mild climate, Turin is a perfect city to travel to at any time of the year, although it should be borne in mind that winters are quite cold and summers are not too hot, so this would be the best time to visit it and so enjoy the good weather and outdoor activities offered by the city.
