  • StreetXo: For us this is one of the most recommended restaurants in Madrid and a place to go at least once. As we mentioned earlier in the tips, it is important to know that reservations are not allowed and at night, especially on weekends and holidays, there is usually a lot of queue, so it is more advisable to go on weekdays and at noon. In this case, it is best to go about 30-45 minutes before opening hours, so make sure you enter the first turn.
    There is no menu and the dishes you must choose from the menu, always recommended by a waiter if you do not know what to choose and we recommend you to try the cocktails, with and without alcohol.
    Although they have currently included desserts in their menu, if you do not want to take them here, you can go to the next place, Rocambolesc of the famous Jordi Roca, and taste a unique ice cream.
    The average of the dishes is approximately 15-20 euros, for two people we advise you to order 5-6 dishes and the cocktails about 12-15 euros.

  • Santita: Mexican restaurant in Fuencarral, in which during the week they serve a menu at a very reasonable price and also have a very complete menu, with delicious dishes.
    We ordered a traditional guacamole (8.40 euros), very good toasted bluefin tuna (10.50 euros), Casserole of Milpa Alta cheese (8.20 euros) and Cochinita Pibil Tacos (8.50 euros). Everything great! And with a very professional attention.

Santita

  • Cacao Restobar: This is a Venezuelan restaurant, right in the center of the city and very close to Atocha, it is another of the most recommended restaurants to eat in Madrid.
    The place is usually full, so it is highly recommended to book in advance, especially if you are coming at night or on a weekend. We ask for tasting of arepas (12 euros), nachos (15 euros), half a serving of patacones (7 euros) and serving of croquettes (12 euros).
    Although the service is very good, the place is too bustling and the food, although we liked it, we were not passionate about. Of course, the patacones, delicious!

Cocoa Restobar

  • Kuoko: According to our experience, this is one of the best restaurants in Madrid and one of the ones we don't miss whenever we travel to the city.
    It is essential to book, even during the week, since the place is not very large and is always full.
    Although the whole menu is a show of flavors, product and quality, all accompanied by an exquisite service, among all the dishes we highlight the crispy wonton (2.5 euros piece), the croquettes (1.5 euros unit), 7 powers ( 16 euros), steak tartar (16 euros), sea bass (18 euros), sweet rice (16 euros). Show for the senses!

Kuoko

  • Goiko Grill: With different venues throughout the city, this is one of the most recommended and trendy places to eat in Madrid at the moment, despite the fact that the service, at least in the premises of Calle del Prado is quite fair .
    We ordered a Kevin Bacon and a Beyond Meat, which we have to say, it was impressive, more lemonades for 35 euros.
    The hamburgers you choose by deciding the type of meat, the amount of hamburgers and also the ingredients.

Goiko Grill

  • Sto Globo Sushi Room: Considered the best restaurant in Madrid on Tripadvisor, this Japanese is one of the best we have tried outside of Japan, so for us it has become an essential in the city.
    It is very important to book since the place is quite small and usually have it complete, both at noon and at night.
    We ordered duck gyozas with ginger (9.5 euros), bao bread with soft shell crab (12.90 euros), spicy tuna roll (12.5 euros), soft shell crab roll (13.50 euros) and nigiri of bluefin tuna (8.90 euros) and we can say that everything was spectacular besides highlighting the treatment and professionalism. 10 restaurant!

Sto Globo Sushi Room

  • Taberna el Sur: We went to this tavern for being very close to our accommodation, in the area of ​​Calle del Prado and for being one of the most recommended restaurants to eat in Madrid and the truth is that it was a disappointment.
    In addition to being very uncomfortable tables, the tops do not have any interest. We ordered white potatoes, croquettes, prawns and squid and although they were acceptable, nothing stood out throughout the dinner, so we do not understand that on TripAdvisor this restaurant has the position it has.
    The total price was 35 euros.

Taberna el Sur

  • Ramen Kagura: We tried this restaurant after it was highly recommended and because it is one of the most recommended places to eat in Madrid on TripAdvisor and we have to confess that we tasted the best ramen we have tasted outside of Japan.
    On weekdays they have several menus, one of them includes gyozas, ramen (of different types), dessert and drink for 9.50 euros.
    The ramen bowls are 200 grams, but you can expand it to 400 grams for 2 euros more, although with the first option, for one person, it is more than enough.
    To take into account that it is usually very crowded so it is advisable to arrive a few minutes before if you want to enter the first shift since they do not accept reservations.

Ramen Kagura

  • La Campana: an entire institution in Madrid, this Madrid venue, located in the Plaza Mayor, is one of the places you can't miss if you want to try one of the best squid sandwiches in the city.
    In addition to these sandwiches, they serve squid rations and other types of snacks and portions.
    The price of the sandwich is 3.50 euros and the squid ration 6 euros.

The bell

  • Casa Lucio: Despite being one of the most recommended restaurants to eat in Madrid, especially for its famous crashed eggs, we have to say that we did not like this or the rest of the dishes as well as the atmosphere, which does not He just fit us. This is why unfortunately, it is not a place we would recommend.

  • Chocolatería San Ginés: Although many say that this is not the best place to eat cheers with chocolate, despite being the most emblematic of the city, we after going whenever we come to Madrid, we believe it is an essential visit.
    The place is very traditional, with photos of famous people who have gone through their dining room and although there are usually many people, the rotation is usually fast. Remember to order at the bar and they serve you at the table. We recommend you order a serving of batons per person and a chocolate to be satiated, for a price of about 9 euros.

San Ginés
